Is OakcapitaX a Mosaic / HiBob Finance Suite replacement?

If you are a 50–500 person company whose priority is one shared platform for a dedicated HR team and a dedicated Finance team, HiBob is purpose-built and we won't pretend otherwise. If you are a founder or operator who needs financial planning, growth ops, signals, attribution and stakeholder updates without buying a full HR suite, OakcapitaX replaces Mosaic for your use case and removes the rest of the HiBob platform you don't need.

Mosaic's strongest feature is real-time headcount-to-finance. Do you do that?

Yes, with one honest caveat. The Hiring & Workforce Planning module connects to your HRIS (HiBob HR, Rippling, Gusto and others) and pipes hires, promotions and leavers into Planner driver math, so the forecast moves in real time. The caveat: we are not the system of record for HR — HiBob is. If you want headcount and finance in one tool because you don't have an HRIS yet, HiBob is the right buy. If you already have an HRIS and want the finance and growth layer on top, OakcapitaX is the right buy.

Mosaic's pricing is gated behind a three-step form. What does OakcapitaX cost?

Published tiers live on our pricing page — you can see numbers and start a trial without talking to sales. HiBob's pricing depends entirely on organisation size and requires submitting company name, role and team size before any number is shared, which makes side-by-side comparison nearly impossible for early-stage buyers.

What about unlimited what-if scenario planning?

Same idea, same answer: yes. Planner supports unlimited driver-based scenarios with multi-scenario comparison, sensitivity bands, hiring overlays and a Git-style version history (snapshot, diff, restore) on top — which Mosaic does not ship.

The acquisition by HiBob — does that change anything for buyers?

It changes two things. First, Mosaic is no longer a standalone purchase: buying the finance module now means evaluating, implementing and being priced for the full HiBob HR + finance suite. Second, the product roadmap answers to HiBob's priorities, not pure FP&A needs. Founders who only want financial planning have lost a transparent, self-serve option — which is the gap OakcapitaX is built for.

Who owns this tool inside the company?
